We’re officially one step before welcoming summer and I couldn’t be happier. Long days, beautiful sunsets, peonies season, picnics at the park. Cycling around Brussels following the Comic Strip Route. Al fresco Saturday lunch at ICI. Lazy long weekends. 

Cupcakes galore at Merrily’s Bakery in Saint-Gilles and Sunday brunch at Henri & Agnes. Blossomed magnolia trees at the Botanic Garden of Meise. Coffee and a spot of blogging at Workshop Café. The perfect brunch bagel at the garden of ADPM – Au Pays des Merveilles.

A magical road trip to Normandy and Brittany in France full of great memories: warm weather, endless rapeseed fields, Mont Saint-Michel in all its glory, wandering around the citadel of Saint-Malo, hiking at Etretat, oysters from the Cancales market and white crisp wine, colorful butterflies floating around in a glorious tropical garden, sipping cider while admiring the port of Honfleur and the best millefeuille I’ve ever had. If you haven’t been to this area of France, put it on your calendars; it’s absolutely beautiful!

A perfect weekend in Geneva with one of my best friends. Movenpick ice cream by the lake, long walks at the Old Town and seafood at the Divonne Sunday market. Colorful flowers everywhere. Vanilla waffles and macarons from the Meert boutique in Brussels. Jazz marathon and fresh smoothies at Peck 47 in downtown Brussels. Yep, May has been pretty good but I can’t wait for summer!
