WORKSHOP CAFE

Avenue Louise is one of the most popular areas for shopping in Brussels. But now there’s an additional reason to make your way there. The Workshop Cafe is a modern coffee shop withe free wifi and international press, where you can relax, enjoy a cup of coffee and maybe even get some work done. You’ll probably find me there too with a cup of coffee, munching on cookies and blogging on my laptop.

The space is spread over two floors and decorated in a modern way with wooden accents, leather sofas, design chairs and large windows that let in plenty of light – a perfect mix that creates a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere. If you head upstairs there’s a small surprise waiting for you: a glass floor that you can sit on and watch the barista in action. Don’t worry it won’t break!

Coffee and food-wise there is also a good variety to choose from ranging from cakes, bagels, soups, warm sandwiches, salads, coffee and delicious beverages. Overall, the Workshop Cafe is a nice place to lay back, meet friends for a quick breakfast/lunch or catch your breath after a bit of shopping on Avenue Louise. Plus points for their sunny terrace and friendly staff who welcomed me with a smile.
