Paris is always a good idea. Who am I to argue with that? That’s why when I got some free time earlier this month, I hopped on the train and went all the way to the City of Lights! No matter how many times you’ve been there, Paris never ceases to amaze you. Between window shopping at Le Bon Marché and walking around my beloved Marais, I discovered Mamie Gâteaux aka the cutest tearoom in the 6th arrondissement, La Chambre Aux Confitures, a little gem selling delicious homemade jam and a pastry shop making the prettiest éclairs you’ve ever seen.

Back to my basis, i.e. Brussels, I decided to play tourist and visit the Maison Cauchie, an Art Nouveau jewel close to the Cinquantenaire park. I loved this place so much and I know you did too (still can’t believe my photo was selected as #bruoftheday!). Other than that, the moody fall weather meant that I could enjoy the perfect al fresco dinner at L’Arrière Pays, do some outdoor running and sip a cup of my favourite Kusmi tea while writing the upcoming posts at L’Atelier en Ville.

Brussels is a beauty during fall – so many colours everywhere as the season is changing! There’s no better place to take it all in than a park. In my case, it was the Bois de la Cambre (including a quick drink at Le Chalet Robinson) and Park Tenbosch.

…And then it was time for London! I couldn’t resist indulging in some shopping at Anthropologie, taking long walks along the Thames and visiting Borough Market. Cheers to another fantastic month; looking forward to the next one! In the meantime, you can find me on Instagram.
