WEEKEND READS #2
Like I promised last week, here are a few of my favourite weekend reads from the blogsphere and beyond! Enjoy your weekend!
♥By now you already know that my favourite meal is brunch. My favourite brunch spots include ICI in Brussels, Kopapa in London and La Salle à Manger in Paris – all highly recommended! While I greatly enjoy a lazy brunch at my favourite hangouts, I also take pleasure in staying home and treating myself to a nice home-cooked meal every now and then. I love a good Bloody Mary as an accompaniment to eggs benedict or other brunch favorites, so this recipe needs to happen asap!
♥ Speaking of great spots, what do you think about cat cafés? They are already popular in Asia, but it seems that they have started making an appearance in Europe too. Case in point: Le Café des Chats that recently opened in the Marais in Paris.
♥If you are a beer lover, this article is just perfect for you as it pinpoints all the locations where Holy Beer, i.e. Belgium’s authentic trappist beer, is made. Curious to learn a bit more about Belgian beer? Have a look at my visits to two historic breweries in Belgium, namely Timmermans and Omer Vander Ghinste.
♥ With holiday season and festive dinner parties approaching, I loved this original DIY idea of rosemary wreath place cards. Aren’t they adorable?
Hope you all have a great weekend! x
