SCARPA

As I mention in my Mykonos Travel Guide, whenever I visit this beautiful Greek island I’m more keen to discover spots off the beaten path that are calm and not really touristy, like Liasti and Cine Manto for example. But there is one exception! I can never say no to a break at Little Venice, a little part of Chora right next to the sea overlooking the windmills. Since the place is so small you only have a handful of options but I do have my favourite places: Galleraki and Scapra.

The two cafes are actually right next to each other but as far as I’m concerned, Scarpa’s cocktails and fresh fruit juices are far better. The location is second to none anyway, offering great views over the sea, service is friendly and when the sun sets everybody is up dancing until the crack of dawn. This is Mykonos after all!

Whether you’re looking for a nice place for a cup of coffee in the morning or a nice spot for drinks and fun later at night, Scarpa will not disappoint you. Have fun and don’t forget to send me a picture on Instagram.
