ON INSTAGRAM

You already know how much I love Brussels and photography which makes Instagram one of my favourite platforms. Just a few weeks ago, I decided to create the account @seemybrussels, a space where both visitors and locals can inspire each other and share beautiful snaps from Brussels. I’m very happy to see that people have embraced it and have many ideas on how to take this a step further but more on that really soon. Every month I will be featuring on my Instagram @smarksthespots my favourite picture with the hashtag #seeemybrussels, so keep up the good work – I love seeing your pictures!

In other news, July has been a great month of discovering new foodie spots and travel destinations! Admiring Brussels’ stunning architecture, having a super proud moment after being featured in De Standaard, spotting the new additions to the Comic Strip Route, finding a new favourite burger place in Châtelain, visiting one of the most beautiful villages I’ve ever been to in Holland. Enjoying the sunshine at the Bois de la Cambre, celebrating Belgium’s National Day with a spectacular firework show, indulging in frozen yoghurt (on repeat!), fresh flowers from the Chatelain market and drinks al fresco at one of my favourite terraces in Brussels. Cheese plate for some of my favourite people in Brussels, the cutest floor tiles on my way to a party, the best memories from my holidays in Tulum, bagel o’clock at Rachel, morning cycling before heading to Spa for the weekend.
