MY LITTLE CUP
My Little Cup was first recommended to me by a very good friend of mine who raved about this spot. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably saw that I finally got to try it a few weeks ago and ever since, it went straight up to my Best Coffee in Brussels list!
Located close to Madou and not far from Parc Royal, My Little Cup is housed in a small yet very bright corner shop with a beautiful facade. Behind the counter you’ll find one of the welcoming owners who will take your order with a smile and make you feel right at home. Seating space is limited but the decor is clean and modern, there’s free wifi and nice music playing in the background. There’s a very relaxing vibe about this place and I love how My Little Cup has blended into the neighbourhood. While I was there, locals would pass by to say hello and get their coffee to go and regulars would pop by for a quick cup of coffee before they went on with the rest of their day.
Speaking about coffee, this is what makes this place so special. Just like Boot Cafe, My Little Cup supplies its coffee from Belleville Brûlerie, a micro-roaster you can find close to the Buttes-Chaumont park in Paris. I guess this spot is a very good example of how the owners’ passion translates into the final product. Served into adorable blue cups, coffee at My Little Cup is really great – some of the best you can actually find in Brussels. At this point I should also probably mention the banana bread with Belgian chocolate – moist, baked in-house as all pastries on offer and absolutely delicious. A must-order if you like something sweet with your cuppa.
If you’re looking for a must-visit cafe in Brussels to unwind for an hour or two or are a coffee enthusiast, give My Little Cup a try. I’m sure you’ll love it as much as I do.
