BELGA & CO
Attention coffee lovers – I have a great spot to share with you! You’ve probably seen me sharing a few snippets of it every now and then on my Instagram as it’s been around for a while but it’s also finally part on my treasure map here on the blog. Belga & Co, here we go!
The motto of this spot is “simple pleasures” and it’s fair to say that the owners, Charly and Loic, do deliver. Belga & Co has been one of my favourite coffee spots in Brussels ever since they opened and have now two locations: one in Chatelain and another in Saint-Boniface. The atmosphere is similar, although I have found the branch in Rue du Bailli to be slightly busier overall. Both locations have free wifi, a little terrace in the back, high ceilings and big windows that let plenty of light in. And then there’s the invigorating smell of freshly ground coffee beans – oh so good! The team roast their own coffee in Antwerp and supply a few more spots in Brussels too, like Pardon Brussels.
Coffee is the real star here – from Chemex and the most amazing oat milk cappuccino to French press and cold brew. Besides coffee, you’ll also find tea, fresh juices, matcha latte (really good!) and cold brew mocktails (which I still need to try myself!). A short list of snacks is also available for breakfast, lunch or brunch that include granola, cakes, viennoiseries, eggs, toasties, savoury pies and fresh salads.
If you’re looking for a relaxing place to get your coffee fix, get some work done on your laptop, read a book or catch up with friends, do try Belga & Co – I actually like it so much that I’ve named it as one of the 10 cafes to visit in Brussels. And don’t forget to share your pictures with me on Instagram sharing the #seemybrussels hashtag!
