POSTCARDS FROM GENEVA
Have you ever been to Switzerland? Over the years I’ve been lucky enough to visit different parts of the country but Geneva holds a special place in my heart as one of my dearest friends lives there. If you follow me on Instagram, you probably know that a few weeks ago I took a short holiday there and it was as pretty as I remembered and then some more.
We made the most of the lovely weather by taking long walks along the Léman Lake (and taking about a hundred photos of the Jet d’Eau which never gets old!), visiting the Old town and the Plainpalais fleamarket, enjoying brunch in Carouge and more glasses of wine than I’d like to admit at a couple of vineyards right outside Geneva, and squeezing in a day trip to the beautiful village of Yvoire. All in all, great times with great people!
I am currently planning another visit in a few month’s time and could use any tips you may have on secret foodie gems in or around Geneva, feel free to share. I’ll definitely go back to Divonne for their Sunday Market but other than that, I can’t wait to explore a bit more some local-favourite spots.
