MMMMH!

One of the most common questions I receive from readers is about cooking classes in Brussels. It seems that people in the EU capital love creating delicious things in the kitchen and I have spotted a great place if you are amongst this group! Just a short walk away from Place Stéphanie, not too far from Bocca Moka and Gelateria Il Monello, there’s Mmmmh!, also called by a friend of mine as “a cooking lover’s paradise”.

Housed in a 500 m² space, you’ll find a shop selling kitchenware, foodie products (albeit a limited selection thereof) and an open area where cooking workshops and classes are organised. Depending on your preferences, there are a lot different courses to choose from, so better keep an eye on their website to see the upcoming events. The first time I visited Mmmmh! was for a team building event with my work colleagues where we learnt how to a few staple Thai dishes with the help of our chef. It was good fun – even more so since we got to happily devour our creations by the end of the workshop! Ever since I’ve been going back to stock up on kitchen utensils and follow a couple of Indian cooking classes but I would gladly attend their series of baking classes (“Académie de pâtisserie”) in the future.

Mmmmh! also participates in various foodie events, like the eat! Brussels festival, where they organize cooking workshops for groups and can be booked for corporate events.
