WEEKEND READS #8
Weekends are the perfect time to sit back, relax and enjoy! And what better way to do that than discovering great recipes, exciting travel destinations, new restaurants and interesting articles? Once per month I’m sharing with you my favorite weekend reads from the blogsphere and beyond to keep you inspired. I’d love to hear yours, so do share!
♥ It’s officially the most wonderful time of the year! Cities all over the world get decorated for the occasion and look as festive as ever. According to National Geographic, these are the top 10 places in the world to see the holidays lights, including our very own Brussels!
♥ Another place I would add to the above list is Bruges. Check out this article to see how the beautiful Flemish city becomes a true winter wonderland during Christmas.
♥ Speaking of cities, I loved these pieces from Garance Doré about Things New Yorkers Do and Things Parisians Do. Having lived in Paris for quite some time, I couldn’t help nodding and smiling as I was reading the latter because she does make some very good points!
♥ Candles are a great gift, especially when they’re made with love. Here’s a brilliant post on how to make your own candles at home.
♥ I’m leaving you with a big and very sweet Christmasy post. I had already tweeted about the homemade vanilla extract, but these hot chocolate spoons are everything! Merry Christmas, everyone!
Hope you all have a great weekend! x
