DAUNT BOOKS

Daunt Books is very special place for me as it combines two of my favourite things, namely reading and travelling. Although nowadays Daunt Books has branches in Chelsea, Holland Park, Cheapside, Hampstead and Belsize Park, my favourite is still their bookstore in Marylebone High Street, steps away from La Fromagerie

Housed in a former Edwardian bookshop, the interior has a very classic and nostalgic feel. Oak galleries, wooden floors, plenty of light coming from the glass rooftop and countless books on the shelves – the perfect setting for a quiet afternoon. Daunt Books has a pretty good selection of novels, poetry and children’s books. However, what brings be back every time I find myself in London is the travel section which is the best of its kind in London. If you happen to love travelling as much as I do, make sure to pay Daunt Books a visit. The shelves are full of travel guides from all over the world that will definitely make you want to book a trip right then and there.

Staff are super nice and friendly, so feel free to ask away until you find your own little treasure!
