WEEKEND READS #3

Weekends are the perfect time to sit back, relax and enjoy! And what better way to do that than discovering great recipes, exciting travel destinations, new restaurants and interesting articles? Once per month I’m sharing with you my favorite weekend reads from the blogsphere and beyond to keep you inspired. I’d love to hear yours, so do share!

Tapas and wine is favourite Friday ritual – the perfect transition from a busy week to a relaxing yet fun weekend. A tapas night can be just as fun both at a tapas bar (my favourite spot in Brussels is no other than El Vasco) and home (presence of friends being a sine qua non!). This recipe for goat cheese stuffed peppadews (little red sweet peppers from South Africa) made it straight to the top of my ”to-cook’ list.

If you are looking for a more original dining experience than tapas, check out some of the world’s most unusual restaurants. No wonder it includes Dinner in the sky, which actually takes place in Belgium! I’ve only made it to the Tram Experience so far, but there’s always room for improvement…!

Another city full of beautiful spots is of course Paris. This article takes you around elevn famous film locations in the City of Light.

…And if you haven’t got enough of pretty little details, check out Annie and Justin’s pictures capturing their favourite ceilings in Belgium and beyond.

Hope you all have a great weekend! x
