WEEKEND READS #20
Weekends are the perfect time to sit back, relax and enjoy! And what better way to do that than discovering great recipes, exciting travel destinations, new restaurants and interesting articles? Once per month I’m sharing with you my favorite weekend reads from the blogsphere and beyond to keep you inspired. I’d love to hear yours so do share!
♥ Salima and I met on through Brussels Food Friends and ever since I’ve been following her recipes. This chocolate cake not only looks yummy but it’s also gluten and lactose – free; sounds like a winner!
♥ Greg from Cook n’ Roll is equally one of my favourite Belgian food bloggers. Using the Kriek Lambicus we got to try during our Timmerman’s x Keep on Toasting tasting event to make salmon teriyaki was a brilliant idea which I’m going to recreate soon at home.
♥ After trying these sumptuous cupcakes at Merrily’s Bakery in Brussels, I decided it’s high time I mastered the recipe myself! First step: read and follow religiously Emily’s top tips on the subject.
♥ Although I’ve been to Venice several times, I can never get enough of it. The canals, the architecture, the people, the food – everything is absolutely gorgeous! Vicky’s travel diary captures the beauty of the city and reveals a few great spots to enjoy authentic Italian specialties.
Hope you all have a great weekend! x
