WEEKEND READS #17
Weekends are the perfect time to sit back, relax and enjoy! And what better way to do that than discovering great recipes, exciting travel destinations, new restaurants and interesting articles? Once per month I’m sharing with you my favorite weekend reads from the blogsphere and beyond to keep you inspired. I’d love to hear yours, so do share!
♥ It’s no secret that I love Greek food. This recipe of ouzo salad dressing is a nice twist from the traditional Greek “λαδολέμονο” (ladolemono = olive oil and lemon juice), easy to prepare and absolutely delicious!
♥ Apart from Greek food, I also happen to love fresh flowers. My Instagram friends should know by now that popping by my local flower market for fresh supplies is a weekend ritual I follow religiously. And I wish I could visit all of these amazing outdoor flower markets!
♥ Les Trois Garçons is one of my all-time favourite restaurants in East London, so the opening of Maison Trois Garçons, a concept cafe in Shoreditch, was very good news indeed. Can’t wait to try it soon!
♥ I recently found out about another gem, only in Lille this time. Located close to the French/Belgian border, Lille is a great idea for a weekend getaway for those living in Brussels. My next trip there will include the obligatory tea break at Meert and a visit at La Piscine, a stunning museum in Roubaix. Until then, I’m off to enjoy brunch with friends in Brussels!
Hope you all have a great weekend! x
