WEEKEND READS #13

Weekends are the perfect time to sit back, relax and enjoy! And what better way to do that than discovering great recipes, exciting travel destinations, new restaurants and interesting articles? Once per month I’m sharing with you my favorite weekend reads from the blogsphere and beyond to keep you inspired. I’d love to hear yours, so do share!

♥ I already mentioned last week that I’m currently in a travel-planning mood. There are still way too many items to cross off my bucket list, which only increased after coming across this list of places to go in 2014 on the NY Times.

♥ Since one of my favourite cities, Athens, is included (thank you NY Times for agreeing with me!) I thought I should share with you Anna’s post on this adorable mosaic park located in the Southern suburbs of Athens. I wish we had one in Brussels too!

♥ Since the warmer months seem further away than ever though, we should make the most of the cold weather! I believe it’s high time I tried to recreate at home one of my favourite Flemish dishes, the Carbonnade (beef and beer stew). Thanks for sharing the recipe, Kathryn!

♥ I’m leaving you with this beautiful video I discovered a few weeks ago. I almost wish I could run to my garden, pick some apples and bake this gorgeous tarte tatin! Dreaming mood on.-
