SAY CHEESE

Normally I don’t share a lot of personal stuff on the blog and that is by choice. I’m of the opinion that our beliefs are our little own universe, so I know what my truth is. Having said that, this is a special occasion! I’ve already told you that I’ve come up with lots of ideas on how to improve the blog. Today I’m making the first step towards what I consider as one of the most important features thereof: attending my very first photography class ever! Honestly, I couldn’t be more excited. See, this is something I’ve been meaning to do for a long looong time, since I first realised that taking pictures was making me really happy. Having my picture taken was (and actually still is) far from a desirable situation (the side effects of being shy and all!), but I find sitting behind the camera very relaxing and sometimes even liberating.

A few years later and here I am, realising my long-standing dream thanks to a very special person (you know who you are!). I don’t know how far I will go (that’s where the nerves kick in again!), but I will definitely try and this is already a small win for me! Needless to say, I have already decided to invest in a new camera with additional features and capabilities, but this is the second step towards the improved S Marks The Spots!

So off I go with a huge smile on my face and my heart beating from joy and anticipation – isn’t life really about these moments? S. xxx
