The past year has been a whirlwind in many different ways. Work changes, family affairs and distressing events in the world in general have made me look a little deeper and review my priorities. Throughout all this the blog has always been a ray of sunshine, my little corner of positivity on the web that I could share with so many of you.

And somehow, I found myself wanting to open up a bit more and get even more creative with my content. I guess it’s only normal that the blog evolves as I do and since there’s no time like the present, consider this as an introduction of a new series of posts where I will be sharing my thoughts, things I love, snaps from my adventures, funny stories and maybe a few recipes too! Don’t worry, I’ll be still posting about my favourite foodie spots and travels but do expect a little more variety which I hope you’ll enjoy. 

These pictures were taken at the Bois de Vincennes in Paris after a fun boat ride on the lake. Shooting amongst all these beautiful colours at golden hour was thrilling but it was when I realised I was surrounded by a group of peacocks that it truly felt surreal. A little reminder that sometimes the most beautiful things are unexpected.
