POSTCARDS FROM MADRID

As you have probably seen on my Instagram, this summer I took a road trip in Spain with my sister. After many planning sessions, we picked Madrid as our first destination and starting point. We had both already been there before but wanted to dig a little deeper this time and explore a few more spots off the beaten path. Our plan was to essentially put down our maps and get lost in the city to get a real feel of the Spanish capital – the best way to discover any city really.

Madrid did not disappoint us. It was still as beautiful as we remembered and more which made it really hard for me to put down my camera at times (truth be told, this is quite common in my case!). Overall we spent 4 days in the city and felt right at home. I could definitely see myself living in Madrid for numerous reasons: gorgeous weather, delicious food, friendly people, beautiful language – what’s not to love about it?
