PLAY LABEL ROOFTOP BAR
No matter how much I love Brussels, I have to admit that the moody and cold weather is definitely a downside. That’s why when temperatures rise and the sun peeks from behind a cloud or two, the whole city is out in full force to make the most of it. And what better place to do that than a rooftop bar? Play Label is a pop up bar that opens its doors during the summer and welcomes the Bruxellois to celebrate the sunshine with cocktails and electronic music.
Created by a group of five friends, aka the Play Label, the bar is located between two of the most beautiful areas in Brussels, the Sablon and the Marolles. So how do you get there? Enter Crosly Bowling, take the elevator through the main entrance (admission is free) and in no time you’ll be able to enjoy great views over Brussels. Add into the mix good electro music, cocktails, comfortable chaise longues and a cheerful crowd ready to hit the dance floor and there you have it – a great spot to enjoy a warm summer day!
Be prepared for a mixed crowd of all ages and styles and keep an eye on the opening hours, as they may vary depending on the weather. Cocktail-wise I was not blown away but still, there’s something about ending a long work day with Pimm’s and a colorful sunset. It may not be perfect but Play Label is definitely one of the best rooftop bars in Brussels!
