THE S FILES – MAY EDITION

Although I am not really fond of winter, I just love watching the raindrops falling on my window. I also love fresh flowers both at home (trying to get spring to arrive) and around the city. Lately I’m also all about trying new recipes (my latest specialties: homemade samosas + mini raspberry cakes) and mini book safaris at Cook & Book in Brussels.

On a sunny weekend, one has to visit beautiful Ghent (Bord’Eau Brasserie is the place to be!) and Knokke. For those more keen on staying in Brussels, I would suggest the magical Royal Greenhouses of Laeken or long bike rides at the Tervuren Park.

Another month and another trip! Destination: Madrid! Amongst my great discoveries in Madrid: an amazing rooftop bar, the Sabatini Gardens for a relaxing stroll, Txirimiri for tapas overdose and last but not least, the famous Retiro park and Prado museum.
