FILMING WITH STARWOOD HOTELS & RESORTS
Tada! Time to reveal one of the great projects I’ve been working on in the past months. This has been one of the most fun things I got to experience thanks to the blog and I was looking forward to the reveal date since day one. Remember how I mentioned here that I shot something special I couldn’t wait to share? Well, that’s it and it was worth the wait!
When Starwood Hotels & Resorts asked if I wanted to take part in their “SPG Destination Brussels” videos, I didn’t have to think twice. I’m typically camera shy and prefer to be behind the lens but the whole process was so exciting, I would happily do it all over again in a heartbeat! The weather was not always on our side, meaning that at times we were filming out in the freezing cold but I couldn’t have asked for a better group of people to work with and the end result made us all proud.
Our aim was to showcase some of the things that make Brussels such a special destination for both visitors and locals: exquisite chocolate, unique beer culture, interesting street art and local specialties. I thought it would be fun to show you some behind-the-scenes photos here on the blog together with the videos we created (update: they have since become restricted, sadly) – hope you like them as much as I do! A huge thanks to Susan, Giulia, Borja and Katleen from the Starwood team, my co-stars Caraigh and Linda as well as Rob, Yonathan, Shai and Michiel from the crew. You were the most amazing team!
