DOORS OF BRUSSELS
Brussels may be a small city compared to other European capitals but is full of beautiful architecture and that’s one of the aspects I love the most about it. Once you start paying attention, you realize there are so many lovely details that make buildings so wonderful and unique. If you follow me on Instagram, you may have noticed that from time to time I post pictures of pretty doors (and floor tiles!) around Brussels.
I’m not entirely sure when my obsession with doors started but over time my “Doors of Brussels” folder in my laptop became so full of photos that I decided it was high time I shared a few of them here on the blog. No matter the size, colour, material or pattern I find that doors are pieces of art on their own and am fascinated by what lies behind them. The pictures below come from different neighbourhoods around the city and all sorts of buildings – another reminder that more often than not beauty is all about the details.
If you’re anything like me and have any great pictures of doors in and around Brussels, feel free to share with me your pictures by using the #seemybrussels hashtag.
