VLOG: A WALK IN THE PARK

Remember how I told you earlier this month that I had many surprises for you and would reveal them one by one over time? Well, consider this step one – my very first video attempt! I may be still trying to master the art of videography but am pretty happy with how this one turned out. So much so that I literally have butterflies in my stomach while I typed this post getting ready forΒ the big reveal. And as far as I’m concerned, anything that makes you so happy is worth every single second of effort.

People living or having visited Brussels before may recognize the Cinquantenaire. It’s actually one of the best parks in the city and remains beautiful throughout the seasons, even during the colder months as this little film proves. So, let me take you for a walk in the park – can’t wait to hear what you think!

  • Great first video. When I started playing with them I quickly realised how different it is to taking pictures! But a fun challenge!

    • Thank you so much, Laura! πŸ™‚ Couldn’t agree more – it does take a while to figure it out but it’s really fun and very rewarding in the end πŸ™‚

  • Iris Debremaeker @ swonderful

    • Thank you, Iris! πŸ™‚ There are definitely more coming!! For this one I used iMovie and I found the process quite easy compared to other programs I had used in the past.

    • Thanks so much! I did my best and am really happy you like the result πŸ™‚

Brava! I love this and can’t stop watching it. I live along the park (my apartment building actually makes a cameo appearance) and I just love it. Thank you! And if this is your first attempt at video (excellent!) I can’t wait to see where your talent takes you from here!!!

    • Thank you sooo much for the kind words!! The blog has taught me so many things and keeps pushing me outside my comfort zone, so I will definitely attempt a second video soon πŸ™‚ Have a great week! xxx
