Those who like good pizza raise your hands! Attention, please: new pizza joint on the blog! Pizza East is one of the hot spots in the Shoreditch dining scene.

Located in a big warehouse space, it has the ever charming industrial ambience coupled with excellent hearty food. The Shoreditch branch (the other two being in Portobello and Kentish Town) is probably the biggest but also the noisiest one, so don’t expect a romantic dinner but rather a lively, bustling atmosphere when you can enjoy a good meal with your group of friends. Pizza is the star of the menu – thin, puffy, baked in gas-fired ovens with just the right amount of topping. Do try some of the starters, such as the finocchiona and most importantly, the chocolate salted caramel cake – simply amazing (sigh)!

A piece of advice: book your slot in advance make sure you’re on time; better be even a bit earlier than sorry.
