BEST SPOTS FOR VEGETARIANS IN BRUSSELS

Best Spots for Vegetarians in Brussels - S Marks The Spots Blog

According to the famous saying, “we are what we eat”. While having a food blog is no easy way to resist temptation, these past few years I have been much more conscious about the quality of food that I consume and have even managed to discover not only some good bio shops but also a few delicious spots for a healthy lunch in Brussels. Lately you have been asking a lot for recommendations on vegetarian restaurants, so voilà! Hope you’ll find this list useful and as always, feel free to share any little gems you may have spotted with me.

La Grainerie,Brussels - S Marks The Spots Blog

 LA GRAINERIE

This place convinced me that a vegan brunch can be delicious indeed. La Grainerie is a small grocery store not too far from Chatelain where one can buy grains, nuts, olive oil, tea and several other products in bulk. In the back you’ll find a small eatery where Marie, one of the owners, serves vegan sweet and savoury dishes. > Read the full review here <

 THE LITTLE GREEN SHOP

A tea room within a flower shop, this place is filled with beautiful blooms and offers a lovely vegetarian brunch buffet on Sundays. If you’re looking for a calm place, you may want to give this one  try. > Read the full review here <

 AMI

Burgers are often seen as an indulgent meal but AMI proves that the healthier option is just as good. Apart from mini burgers, there are also sandwiches, fresh salads and soups – all vegetarian, comforting and delicious. > Read the full review here <

 TAN

I simply love this restaurant and am really surprised it has stayed under the radar of foodies so far. Right in the heart of Chatelain, it is slightly more expensive than the other options featured in this post but totally worth it. All the ingredients are organic and cooked at low temperatures to preserve all their nutritious value. > Read the full review here <

 MOONFOOD

Moonfood was one of the first eateries to embrace the concept of living vegan food and its success was immediate. Just opposite Parc Royal, it’s the perfect spot to pick up something quickly for a picnic on a sunny day but you can equally sit down and enjoy the lovely interior. > Read the full review here <

 CHANA

Here you’ll find the best falafel in Brussels which also happen to be made with organic ingredients. The menu is short but I do love it when a place does a few things but really well. A great spot for vegetarian street food in Saint-Gilles. > Read the full review here <

 FOURCHETE A BICYCLETTE

This is one of my favourite brunch spots in Brussels; I just love the colours, creativity and flavour combinations. The menu changes on a weekly basis but you can always count on Alexandra, the lovely lady who cooks everything from scratch, for great vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free dishes. > Read the full review here <
