There’s nothing as reviving and relaxing as a cup of tea. Luckily, there are quite a few spots in Brussels offering a good selection plus the obligatory sweets to go with! Here are my favourite tea rooms to enjoy your cuppa in the city.

This little gem serves an enticing array of sweets and Mariage Frères tea, including Laurent Gerbaud chocolates and Maison Dandoy biscuits. A great spot for quiet break in between shopping or sightseeing in the centre of Brussels. > Read the full review here <

Located in a beautiful Art Nouveau townhouse, the Comptoir Florian is a great spot to enjoy a great cuppa and homemade cake in peaceful surroundings. > Read the full review here <

Founded in 1912 and still a family-run business, Maison Renardy is an oasis of calmness in the Matonge area where sweets are homemade and your order is served on a silver platter. > Read the full review here <

I’ve tried the pastries of Meert for the first time at their store in Lille and ever since, I’m hooked! This is the perfect spot to have a cup of tea in Brussels, especially if you have a sweet tooth. > Read the full review here <

Thank you 🙂 I have been there a couple of times and it’s equally good but I haven’t included it in the list yet as I don’t have decent pictures yet. An update is going to take place asap!

Thanks for compiling this list! I blog about tea and could suggest a couple of additions: Japanese tea house Unami and the Peppermint Tea Room 😉

    • I know your blog and have been following it for a while now 🙂 I tried Unami just last week and really loved it – now I have to give Peppermint Tea Room a go too. Thanks for the tip!
